By car from the East - follow the A1 round the north of the city. When the dual carriageway ends, continue ahead along the A199, at the next roundabout take the 1st exit left into A1140 Portobello Rd. Continue ahead along London Rd following signs for the City Centre and Princes St. Bear left into Montrose Terrace then third left into Abbeymount. Continue down to a roundabout where you take the 1st exit left, then immediately bear right into Horse Wynd. At the end of the road turn right into Holyrood Rd and the hotel is 300 yards ahead to your right. From the South/West - follow the A720 Edinburgh bypass to the south of the city, then take the A701 Burdlehouse Rd for the City Centre. Continue ahead along Howden Hall Rd and Liberton Gardens. At the roundabout bear left onto Craigmillar Park, follow signs for Waverley Station & continue straight ahead along Mayfield Gardens, Minto St, Newington Rd, South Clerk St and Nicolson St. Turn right into West Richmond St, continue ahead to the end, turn left into Pleasance then right into Holyrood Rd and the hotel is 300 yds ahead to your right. By Train - the hotel is 1 mile from Edinburgh Waverley station, 5 minutes by taxi. On foot leave the station by the main Waverley Bridge exit and turn left. Take the first left into Market St, cross North Bridge and bear right into Jeffrey St. Cross Canongate and continue ahead into St Marys St, then left into Holyrood Rd. The hotel is 300 yards along Holyrood Rd on your left.
